Would You Join Us In Supporting Your Neighbors?
At the time of this writing, the Ottauquechee Health Foundation (OHF) has helped 106 of your neighbors obtain health and wellness services with support from 154 Good Neighbor and Homecare Grants. This is a huge increase from the 111 grant requests we had received at the same time last year.
In addition, we have provided 7 Community Grants. One of these grants was funding support for bike helmets for children.
The OHF helps infants to seniors. We help fund routine needs such as a dental cleaning, to needs following a life-changing diagnosis or event. We help fund one-time appointments, to paying for devices, such as a knee brace or a mobile alert system for our seniors, that support our clients on a daily basis.
Recently, the OHF purchased a specialized high chair for a toddler with a disability that made it fatiguing to sit upright in a dining room chair; mealtimes were not enjoyable. Now, thanks to the high chair, this toddler is able to sit at the table each day to eat and spend quality time with family members. Mom said, “We think of [OHF] almost every day and we’re thankful that you exist in a multitude of ways.”
Each year, there is an increase in the number of people we serve and the number of grants we provide. Your donation allows us to continue to meet the needs of our community. Any amount you can contribute will help! Would you join us in supporting your neighbors?
Gratefully,
Hali Robinson
