Hanna Snyder
Trustee
Hanna has called the Woodstock area home for much of her life and has spent the last decade building community to enhance the health and well-being of those who live in Vermont. After earning her degree in Anthropology and Gender, Sexuality and Women’s Studies from the University of Vermont, Hanna took a job at the Vermont Foodbank where she grew their statewide volunteer programs. She then transitioned to the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock managing fundraisers and events. Combining her interest in public health and partnership building, Hanna now leads Vermonters Taking Action Against Cancer, the statewide cancer coalition, working to reduce the burden of cancer. She also oversees initiatives at the University of Vermont Cancer Center’s Education and Training Program, training the next generation of cancer clinicians and scientists. Hanna lives in Woodstock with her husband, Andrew. You can usually spot her mountain biking in the summer, Nordic skiing in the winter, and traveling whenever the opportunity arises.
